Terms of Use
Last updated: 27 September 2026
These terms govern your use of Tendly, provided by AZZOUNIVENTURES LTD ("we", "us"), company number 17394168, registered in England and Wales.
The service
Tendly helps you keep track of personal and professional relationships via reminders, cadence tracking, and special-date alerts.
Subscription and payment
Every new account gets a 30-day free trial with full access — no card required, no feature gating during the trial.
After the trial, continued access requires either:
- Monthly — £2/month, auto-renewing, or
- Lifetime — £20 one-time purchase, non-renewing (available at a discounted tier as low as free, permanently, through the in-app referral program — see "Referral program" below)
There is no free tier by default — full permanent access requires a Monthly or Lifetime purchase, or reaching 3 paid referrals through the referral program (see below), which grants free access permanently.
All payments are processed by the Apple App Store (or Google Play, where applicable) — we never see or store your card details.
Monthly subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancel any time in your App Store (or Google Play) account settings — not inside Tendly, since Apple/Google process the payment.
Lifetime purchases are one-time and non-refundable except as required by Apple's or Google's own refund policies.
Referral program
- Existing users get a personal referral code they can share.
- If you sign up without a referral code, your Lifetime price starts at £20 and steps down as friends convert: £20 → £15 (1 referral) → £10 (2) → free, forever (3).
- If you redeem a friend's code, your own Lifetime price starts already discounted at £15, and follows the same structure: £15 → £10 (1) → £5 (2) → free, forever (3).
- A step only applies once someone you referred actually pays (Monthly or Lifetime) — starting a trial isn't enough.
- At 3 paid referrals you get permanent free access, whatever your subscription state at that moment. If you have an active Monthly subscription running when this happens, it's your responsibility to cancel it via the App Store (or Google Play) — the app will prompt you, but continuing to pay for Monthly afterwards is unnecessary, not something we do for you.
- Referral rewards have no cash value, can't be exchanged for cash, and apply only to your own account. Each account can redeem at most one referral code.
- We may change, cap, or discontinue the referral program at any time, including for attempted abuse (e.g. self-referral or fake accounts).
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Tendly to harass, stalk, or surveil another person without their knowledge in a way that breaches applicable law
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or gain unauthorised access to the app or its infrastructure
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose
You're responsible for the accuracy and legality of any information you enter about your contacts.
Account deletion
Delete your account any time from within the app. Deletion is reversible for 30 days — sign back in within that window and your account and contacts are restored. After 30 days, deletion is final.
Disclaimer and liability
Tendly is a personal organisation tool; it does not guarantee you will maintain any relationship, and we are not liable for the consequences of a missed or mistimed reminder. The app is provided "as is" beyond warranties required by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability to you is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before a claim arises.
Changes to the service or these terms
We may update these terms from time to time; continued use after a change constitutes acceptance. We may modify or discontinue features, and will try to give notice for anything significant.
Intellectual property
The Tendly name, logo, and app design are owned by AZZOUNIVENTURES LTD. Nothing in these terms grants you rights to our brand or content beyond using the app as intended. You retain ownership of the content you enter (contact details, notes, photographs) — we don't claim any rights over it beyond what's needed to operate the service for you.
Governing law
England and Wales; the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
